The last thing anyone said here

No announcement, no goodbye. The archive simply stops. Nobody in this conversation knew it was the last one.

Borrowed-Time412its killer dude. I just want my daddy back
NovelResolution8593My son is back to drinking and I honestly can’t deal with it anymore. I think I am just done with him until he decides to get clean and stay clean. He’s skipping work and on a binder.
treeziebreezieBU2FLHi! This doesn’t feel like a stand alone post, my Q uses another DOC, not alcohol… is it still appropriate to be here or is there another group for that like there is NA and OA in place of AA?
Jake_77You’re welcome but there may be a more specific subreddit. What drug?
XxSam-I-amxX710My husband started drinking about 5 months ago, it went from one drink every other day and progressed within about 2 months to whole 750ml being finished in 1-3 days… it’s gotten to the point where every single night he becomes rude and argumentative, he is so mean… he said he was working on it but I know he’s lying about his progress, he will say “this is my first drink of the night” when I can clearly tell it not (due to his demeanor, look in his eyes and that I can smell it on him before that supposed 1st drink… I’m 7 months pregnant and he has barely been there for me… I feel so lost, I have nobody to talk to about this… our 11 y.o daughter notices and is starting to hate him because he’s always yelling and belittling both of us..
gatorback94I hope you have a good support group / family. There's probably some mental health issue: if not, then I am not optimistic. Wishing you the best, especially for the next generation.

KeyReflection8147You replied to me a month ago. Sorry for taking so long. My friend made it. Barely. Yes was in the hospital but the medicine they were giving is what actually was shutting everything down. Ended up in ICU intubated and they stopped everything. 29 days later was released. I said please don’t try and detox at home. Alcohol is way too dangerous. I don’t know how I feel about that now. Anyway thank you for responding. I do appreciate it very much. My friend is sober currently and at home.
kjconnor43I’m happy to hear they survived. It sounds traumatic and hope you’re okay.
