Choice_Ad1335Hello. I’m flying out of Cairo in May 2026 and into Bishkek. I want to use a drone in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan but leaving from Egypt, drones are illegal. Is there anywhere in Bishkek I can buy a budget camera drone?
Baisalethere are several drone stores in Bishkek NEME.KG. They list a budget quadcopter “4DRC” for ≈ 8,500 сом. That’s around 97 USD. Sulpak. A big electronics chain; they have had DJI Spark listed.  iStore (Bishkek). They have a drones section.
Baisale1. Mid to late September weather is usually around 7°C-27°C in Bishkek, and colder in the mountains. What the Weather Is Likely to Be in Mid-to-Late September depends on region. In lower / mid-mountain regions, daytime temps are fairly mild. In Bishkek, for example, September averages are ~ 20.7 °C high, 11.3 °C low.  But in higher altitudes, nights can get very cold.  According to a travel guide, early snow can start on high passes toward the end of September. 2. Yes. Yurts are open year-round depending on the place. Many yurts aren’t tourist attractions so you can search the internet. Though I do know a place in Suusamyr valley which has a lot of mountains and rivers and yurts. 3. There’s likely a possibility, but camp closures are more likely as season ends. Lenin Peak Base Camp is high altitude and remote, so there’s a possibility but camp closures are more likely as the season ends. According to a trekking guide, the best time for the Sary-Mogol / Lenin-area trekking is up to September, but the “window” is closing. According to the same guide, Sary Mogol Pass is “open approximately late June–mid-September.”  That suggests by mid-to-late September, the pass may be riskier / less reliable. As for Koltor Lake, I truly don’t know. It’s more remote. Köl Suu lake is a very remote, high mountainous lake. Yurt stays are possible in summer, but in late September, there’s a real chance that “jailoo” (seasonal campsites) may be packing up. Karakol lake is more accessible Weather in Karakol in September is reasonably mild during the day (~14.5 °C) according to climate data. Horseback riding is more likely feasible, but staying in remote yurts may be more hit-or-miss later in the season.

BaisaleYou can still cross the Irkeshtam Pass. Travelers who went through recently say the route is open and doable, though it can be slow. Most people use a private taxi because public transport is inconsistent, and sharing a ride helps reduce the cost. Border procedures are straightforward and usually just involve normal passport stamps. Keep in mind the pass sometimes closes briefly for Chinese holidays or construction work, so check the status before you go. You’ll need a valid Chinese visa unless you have a special border permit. The road from Osh through Sary-Tash is remote but in decent condition, and the whole trip usually takes most of the day.

Shared taxis leave when they fill up; cost is usually 2,000–3,000 KGS for one seat, but it can turn to 7000 KGS (around 80 USD) Yes, there’s also a marshrutka (minibus) option: route 517 is listed in 2GIS as “Ош-Бишкек-Ош.” but marshrutkas are very uncomfortable for many people. According to recent travelers, marshrutkas leave early, fill up, and cost around 1,000 KGS.
