No announcement, no goodbye. The archive simply stops. Nobody in this conversation knew it was the last one.

geckodr94You lucky guy, those are beautiful
Aggressive_Pirate_82i’m curious, example… uncle ben tek or grow bags. could they thrive say buried underground in a forest in the UK. Winter or Summer. It would be cool to just find a plot of land and bury tons of the lovely’s. (i’m talking many strains) Libs grow naturally around me and i’ve had 10+ ozs dried picking days before. is there any strain that can survive the cold? the natural climate.
Plastic-Union-319Do the mushrooms you want to grow outside naturally grow in a similar environment? Would you be able to accommodate the fungus with what it wants? If not, you likely can’t grow them outside. Many people find success growing them in garden beds, because they keep them moist, and often in a nutrient-rich environment. Not all gardens are suitable for specific mushrooms. For you, it sounds like you should create liquid culture to store and replenish your live supply. You can keep LC in the fridge for weeks to months and even possibly a year or more, and it will still be good. Go out about a season or two depending on the growth rate of your species, environment, etc., and use a syringe to suck up/spray out liquid culture where you believe it’s best for them to grow. Alternatively, you can also just take the lid off the jar and dump it all at once, just make sure to get a good sized area. You can go pretty light with it and still get great results.
PlatypusTechnical875You ideally want p.azurescens https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tTP1TcwzU7PsjRg9OIp0EusKi1KLU5OzSsGAF9ECCE&q=p.azurescens&rlz=1CDGOYI_enGB797GB797&oq=p.az&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDAgCEC4YJxiABBiKBTIGCAAQRRg6MgYIARBFGDkyDAgCEC4YJxiABBiKBTIGCAMQABge0gEIMzU4OGowajmoAhOwAgHiAwQYASBf8QV1CJXac2J8I_EFdQiV2nNifCM&hl=en-GB&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 I have these on LC if you are after any, normally put on bark to colonise around the last frost of the year so feb/mar for them to pop up around Septemberish You can put them down before that but they won’t fruit until that time

tifytatHeeeeyyyyy everyone!!! I miss you folks! I stopped growing for a while because it became stressful instead of fun but I’m about to get started again. I probably have, I don’t know, 50 to 75 LC syringes and agar plates and spore prints, oh my (iykyk 🀣), in my fridge and I’m wondering what’s even worth messing with. Should I just go for it with anything? Obvs prints are likely still viable. Are there any visual indicators aside from green that I should look for? I can’t wait to get back at it!
SnooOpinions8755Make some plates and test the lc and make transfers with the agar you have in the fridge. If nothing pans out for sure just go with prints and make transfers!
