No announcement, no goodbye. The archive simply stops. Nobody in this conversation knew it was the last one.

boise208Feel like I'm looking for a unicorn. 11th gen, under 75k miles, manual transmission, not on the east coast
VariousMud3634My 2019 Camry transmission blew 260 miles after my platinum 5k cash warranty and Toyota won’t cover 1$ what can I do? I’m literally going to be homeless if not . It’s 9k to fix and I owe 15k on the car I thought Toyota was great with customer satisfaction & the transmissions lasted way longer than 150k.
Ztp18How many miles?
coconutkatieHey everyone— I could use some advice. I have a 2008 Toyota Yaris 2 door hatchback with 160,000 miles. I took it to get an oil change today and they recommended a hot oil flush (they said there was only half the oil there should be), brake fluid change, and transmission fluid change. The total cost would be $924. That amount seemed a bit crazy to me… I decided for now to just do the oil change. Should I take my car elsewhere? Are the fluid changes necessary? I don’t drive much as I work from home.
Ztp18Have you owned the car since it was new, and if so, when is the last time you did a transmission fluid change and brake fluid change?
Tight-Butterscotch94When i took the car for a comprehensive inspection, they gave me a dipstick reading of the fluids
coconutkatieNo I bought it used. I couldn’t find any record of the transmission fluid and brake fluid being done. I checked the transmission fluid and it definitely needs to be changed, so I decided to just have it done and the brake fluid as well. I got a quote from another nearby shop and it should be <$400 for both. I’m ignoring the suggestion for the hot oil flush as everyone has told me it’s likely completely unnecessary.
Different_Manner_907@Ztp18 not new but i have changed couple month ago, transmission only, bc it had a little noise when i it was going on 50-60 km/h , and it fully dissapeared after changing, toyota camry 2012
Different_Manner_907it had somehow 80- 90 k miles on it
