No announcement, no goodbye. The archive simply stops. Nobody in this conversation knew it was the last one.

Snoo_34511Hi all! Am completely new to this (sister and I have a suitcase player- I know) her birthday is coming up and I wanted to invest in a good record player for her. Is there a player you could recommend that has inbuilt speakers? Or something a little all in one? Could be a silly question but again, do not know where to start
Putrid-Table-5844No all-in-ones are worth recommending, sorry.
Temporary_Gazelle586Can anyone get me an opinion on the victrola Eastwood II I have never owned a record player before but already own a few vinyls as I love the look and display them on my walls https://www.amazon.co.uk/Victrola-Eastwood-Bluetooth-AT-3600LA-Cartridge/dp/B0CY3GH6FY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?adgrpid=183290640181&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.pTpfXLGhV_bM9oZkW9DSvUhO80_49nI2zHp5EXfITxHSONC7wkrrm9pA8nQ35xudm8pFyiiJpxYWEB0la-8jrR1KQETlFKYHu9EKI2cPFfQ4ciqmsc9LBsKQWz5OOj0m1I1cMWK7pSpIMllpE5vUdl3JyLdKniu87bph51Jq7tFM_k-AyuaZEmIuTyULdxxdNY9G0Q0vABygyhbogSUdhw.Ts_Lm-D9qBIuPbOKsz5ad6pidN7zY6zGTKrZ7dw0Pjo&dib_tag=se&gad_source=1&hvadid=779261419377&hvdev=m&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9046664&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=6528488420283130427--&hvqmt=b&hvrand=6528488420283130427&hvtargid=kwd-2337221100221&hydadcr=8404_2231989_397395&keywords=victrola+eastwood+ii+record+player&mcid=707dc91b2de33b86afc8dc4012a5a6f6&qid=1762984649&sr=8-3 Linked the amazon page any help would be nice
hfenwickI need some help! So my father just handed down his H.H. Scott PS-47A Belt Drive Turntable to me, and I have been trying to get it working for my Sonos Era 300. I have purchased the Line-In Adapter for the speaker. I have purchased an Insignia RCA to Coaxial/Optical adapter, which I am running the turntables RCA all the way to the line in adapter. No audio. I have played with the Sonos app, I’m beginning the think the RCA cables from this 70’s turntable may be bad? What should I do, where do I even start troubleshooting?

Putrid-Table-5844I see you didn’t mention a phonostage. The output from a turntable cartridge is not line level, needs a phonostage to bring it up to line-level to be compatible with “line-in” connection
Motto16ADVICE NEEDED: Pioneer 516 on fb marketplace an hour from me for $120 for turntable and receiver. I’d be a first time turntable owner. This seems like a good deal? I like to fix things and have built computers so I’m comfortable trying to figure out the auto return (eventually).
