The last thing anyone said here

No announcement, no goodbye. The archive simply stops. Nobody in this conversation knew it was the last one.

No-Abrocoma4278I am in my late 70’s and VERY new to investing. On advice from a “friend”, last April, I bought $4000 worth of MSTX at $80.56 per share. It immediately started dropping and “friend” kept telling me to hold on, it will come back. It obviously hasn’t and I’m down about 80%. Should I just sell and take my loss or is there any chance that it could come back?
Relevant_Contract_76At your age and stage, buying a leveraged ETF of any kind is risky. Buying one tied to a Bitcoin derivative is madness. You need better friends.
carlosrobert7^ what the heck
carlosrobert7leveraged + with bitcoin is a wild stock recommendation for someone in their late 70s lmfao
Complex-Fuel-8058Damn... With friends like that, do you even need enemies?
No-Abrocoma4278Yes, I’ve already figured that out, thank you. In the meantime, what should I do, hold on or just dump it and take the loss?
Relevant_Contract_76I mean, you've held it from 80 to 16. Seems a little late to be asking for advice on what to do. Your $4k is probably worth $800 now. Whether you should ride it out or not depends on how badly you need that $800

Used-Commercial203Why haven't you all dumped MSTY and bought BTCI or even MSTR yet?
